Registering A Business Name

     If you are doing business as a Sole Proprietor or Partnership out of your home or in a store, then you are required to register your business name with the Town. It is a one-time $10.00 filing fee. Corporations need only to be registered with the State. Forms are available at the Clerk’s office. Please bring a photo I.D.

Business Licenses

     The Clerk’s office handles many business licenses. Victualer’s Licenses, Off premise or 1 Day Catering, Liquor License, Live Entertainment, Home Solicitation, Mobile Food Units, Motion Picture, Coin-op Machines, Bottle Clubs and Pawn Shops. Applications and Ordinances are available at the Clerk’s office.
