DOG LICENSING
2013 Dog Licenses have been available since Monday, October 15th in the Town Clerk's Office. There are still have many dogs in town that are not licensed. Now, there is a $25.00 late fee being charged since the January 31st deadline has passed. Please bring in current rabies information with you.
Dog licenses run per the calendar year and need to be relicensed by December 31st each year. You may license a dog in person at the Town Clerk's office or you may mail our downloadable form (at the bottom of the page) to 8 School Road, Windham ME 04062.
If you are registering a new dog, you will also be required to show proof that your dog is current with rabies vaccinations. (Mail a copy of this certificate)
The state requires these fees:
- If a dog has been spayed or neutered the fee is $6.00
- If NOT spayed or neutered the fee is $11.00. If you have any questions?
- After February 1st, a $25.00 late fee per dog will go in effect.
