MISSION STATEMENT
The Clerk is considered the keeper of the Town's Records. The Municipal Clerk's Office provides excellent customer service and serves the public in a courteous and friendly manner; to give support to the Town Council and the citizens of the Town of Windham.
We take pride in the way we supervise all our Elections. Voter Registration is handled in accordance with Maine Law and the Town's Charter. If we do not know an answer to a question, we will find the answer or find someone who can help.
This office handles all the town's Vital Records, Business Licesnes, Elections, Dog Licensing, Hunting/Fishing Licensing, Noatry & Dedimus Service, attends Council Meetings and records the Minutes, and we also back up the Tax Collection/Auto Registration in collecting Property Taxes and Registering Autos, Boats, and ATV's
